Why buy water lily products?
1. Overgrowth of water lily causes algae bloom which can attract mosquitos that are known to cause dengue.
2. Water lilies clog the country’s rivers and cause flooding.
3. They do not easily decompose thus a good material for bags, slippers, etc.
In a small community in Cavite, water lily is a primary source of income as they spend hours weaving bags and slippers made from the said plant.
However, they are about to give up on this as sales are slow and they are currently stuck with a lot of unsold inventories. Can we help them?
